Is Roach afraid of Mosley? This will be the big question to Roach as a trainor to Manny Pacquiao. Roach already how hard is Mosley. But still Roach is confident enough that Pacquiao will win the fight.
Roach reiterated that they are avoiding distractions that is why they went to the US. Compared to Baguio, his Wild Card Gym still offers relatively fewer distractions. Still, despite the inconveniences which they experienced in their training camp, Roach is still very satisfied with their current pace.
Accoring to Coach Roach they had a good start, that Pacquiao is very motivated and that his intensity above normal. With the upcoming sparring sessions which Manny Pacquiao will undergo, it is not a surprise that Roach decided to close the gym. For him despite the fact that Shane Mosley is the underdog, he is still a very dangerous fighter, given that he has already accumulated enough experience to provide threat to Manny Pacquiao.
Freddie Roach does not want to take Mosley lightly as seen from his reaction to a reporter who inquired whether it is possible for them to get a coverage of Pacquiao’s training.
